The Dahlgr85 variety, known under the trade name Dahlegria Tricolore, belongs to the single-flowered dahlia group. The plant reaches a height of 55–60 cm and is characterized by good branching and dark foliage with a purple hue. Flowering continues from mid-summer until the first frosts.

Inflorescences with a diameter of 7–10 cm have a tricolor coloration: a base salmon-orange tone with lilac petal edges and a dark purple-red zone around the open dark center. The stems are strong, which ensures the plant's decorative appeal.

The variety is intended for cultivation in containers and open field. It is propagated by tubers, cuttings, and tissue culture. The plant requires protection from frost in cold climates, as the tubers need to be stored in a place protected from cold.
