DA 12
ActiveDahlia Cav. · Dahlia
RUNE HARBOE NIELSEN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the collarette dahlia group, characterized by an outer row of petals and an inner "collar" of shorter petals around the central disc. The plant height is usually 70–80 cm, and the inflorescence diameter varies from 5 to 10 cm, sometimes reaching 15 cm.
The flower color is represented by pink or reddish-lilac shades combined with a creamy-white or yellowish center. Flowering is prolonged, from July to October. The plant is suitable for decorating flower beds, mixed borders, and creating floral arrangements.
The variety prefers sunny, wind-protected areas with well-drained soils. Resistance to lodging is estimated as medium, therefore, as large inflorescences develop, the stems may require support.
