The variety belongs to a group of 24 dahlia varieties created by the breeder N. P. Yashchenko. The author's breeding work was based on the study of biological productivity, plant response to mineral nutrition, and the method of close-related cross-pollination using marker traits. The purpose of the variety is ornamental floriculture.

In available scientific publications dedicated to the review of dahlia breeding at the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden, the fact of the variety's registration is mentioned. Specific morphological traits and agrotechnical characteristics, such as plant height, disease resistance, or a detailed description of the inflorescences, are not detailed.
