Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a hybrid of Daphne caucasica and Daphne collina. The shrub has a rounded shape, reaching 0.8–1.0 m in height and width. Leaves are dark green, lanceolate; the plant is evergreen or semi-evergreen depending on climatic conditions.

Flowering lasts up to 5–6 months, starting in late spring and continuing in repeat waves until October. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness (USDA zones 5b–9a) and heat tolerance. The plant requires good soil drainage, does not tolerate heavy pruning well, and is toxic if ingested.

Used in ornamental gardening as a specimen plant, in border plantings, or for container cultivation.
