The variety type of Dutch origin includes groups of varieties intended for fresh consumption, not suitable for long-term storage. The root crops have a cylindrical shape with a blunt tip, a smooth surface, an average length of 14–20 cm, bright orange juicy flesh, and a small core.
The plants are early-maturing, reaching technical maturity 80–90 days after emergence. Varieties of this type possess resistance to cracking and bolting, prefer light well-drained soils, and require moderate watering to prevent the root crops from cracking.
