Ascania F1 is a mid-late hybrid with a vegetation period from germination to maturity of about 110–125 days. The root crops have a predominantly cylindrical shape; conical shapes are also described. The color of the crops is red-orange; the head does not turn green during the growth process.

The hybrid possesses good uniformity of crops and is suitable for long-term storage. The plant demonstrates resistance to diseases and adapts to various soil types.
