The variety Caracas belongs to the baby carrot type. The root crops have a short conical shape 10–12 cm in length and possess juicy, crisp flesh with a sweet taste.

The plant has a powerful foliage apparatus and is cold-resistant. Due to the shape of the root crops, the variety is suitable for cultivation in heavy soils, in containers, and in raised beds. Despite early maturity, it possesses good keeping quality.
