The Capparo F1 hybrid is mid-late, with a period from emergence to technical maturity of 105–130 days. The plant forms an erect leaf rosette with long, finely dissected green leaf blades.
The root crops have a fusiform shape with a slightly pointed tip, orange color, a length of 17–19 cm, and a weight of 140–170 g. The total sugar content is 7.6–9.0%, and carotene content is up to 18.6 mg per 100 g of fresh weight.
The hybrid shows moderate resistance to Alternaria blight, black leg, and Cercospora leaf spot; the root crops are resistant to cracking. Marketable yield varies from 270 to 470 c/ha, and the variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting.
