The variety is a historically known representative of the Amsterdam group (sometimes classified as Nantes type). The period from emergence to technical maturity is about 80–90 days. The root vegetables have a cylindrical shape, a bright orange color, and a small tender core, colored the same as the flesh.
The produce is distinguished by high taste qualities, juiciness, and carotene content. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and early spring harvests; however, it is not suitable for long-term winter storage. The variety type is characterized by the resistance of the root vegetables to cracking.
