The variety is traditional, non-hybrid, and has been mentioned in agronomic literature since the 1830s. The roots have orange flesh with a distinct aroma and a characteristic conical or rounded-conical shape, and they are not prone to deformation even in dense soils.
The plant is early-maturing, with the harvest ready 65 days after sowing. The variety prefers sunny areas and light soils; seed sowing at a depth of 1–2.5 cm is possible from late February to July.
