The variety is early-maturing and is characterized by short roots with a "blunt" end. Due to this morphology, it is optimally suited for cultivation in areas with a shallow soil horizon, as well as for growing in plastic tunnels and greenhouses.
The variety is distinguished by good taste qualities and root color. Sowing can be carried out at different times throughout the season. Historically, the variety has been known since the mid-20th century and is often mentioned in reference books as an heirloom variety, sometimes compared to the Chantenay variety type.
