The variety was developed from a group of local "yellow carrots" through open pollination over several years and subsequent elite selection. As a result, three independent lines were isolated, including the violet (violett) one.
The variety is open-pollinated. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group, root parameters, or disease resistance, are absent from the technical documentation.
