The variety belongs to a type of carrot intended for industrial slicing. In agronomic studies, it has often served as a control sample for comparison with new hybrids regarding top characteristics and disease resistance.

The plant has weak tops in comparison to other modern breeding samples. According to the results of field trials, the variety is highly susceptible to diseases such as Alternaria leaf blight and Cercospora leaf spot.
