The Ingot (Ingot F1) variety belongs to the Nantes type. The maturation period is about 67 days. The roots reach a length of 20–25 cm with a diameter of 2–2.5 cm and have a cylindrical shape with a semi-blunt tip and a smooth surface.

The flesh of the root has an intense orange color and a high carotene content (120–170 ppm). Studies noted the resistance of this genotype to thrips damage, associated with the accumulation of specific metabolites in the leaves.
