The hybrid Niland F1 belongs to late-maturing varieties with a vegetation period of about 131 days. The root crops have a cylindrical shape 18–24 cm long, a bright orange color, and a thin core. The flesh is characterized by juiciness and a high sugar content.

The plant possesses lush, healthy foliage that is firmly attached to the root crop, which allows for mechanized harvesting. The root crops are resistant to cracking and retain their marketability after washing and polishing.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to viral diseases and also has intermediate resistance to Cercospora leaf spot, Pythium rot, and downy mildew. The main purpose is long-term storage, sale on the fresh market, and processing.
