The variety represents genetic material that was used in European research to evaluate the crop's resistance to the carrot fly (Psila rosae), however, it did not demonstrate a high level of protection against this pest.
In studies of taste qualities and the composition of volatile organic compounds, the variety is classified as having an uncharacteristic taste. In agronomic trials of previous years, an unremarkable root color was noted.
