The Regulska variety belongs to the Berlikumer type and is distinguished by an intense orange flesh color. The growing period from sowing to harvest is 130–140 days.
The root vegetables possess a pronounced sweet taste, high firmness, crunchiness, and juiciness. The variety contains an increased amount of beta-carotene compared to traditional varieties. Recommended for fresh consumption and long-term storage.
This variety is classified as an old Polish variety and is often used in studies for comparing quality indicators under organic and conventional cultivation methods.
