The roots have a long shape with broad shoulders, tapering to a pointed tip; the surface is smooth. The flesh is an intense orange-red shade. The plant forms a vigorous, tall, erect leaf rosette.
The variety is characterized by a high content of carotene, sugars, and dry matter. It has versatile use: suitable for long-term winter storage, fresh market sales, and industrial processing.
Cultivation requires deeply tilled, loose, lime-rich soils; root deformation is possible in heavy and dense soils. Both traditional cultivation and ridge cultivation are permissible.
