Variety description

The variety is the result of multiple hybridization of D. elatum and D. belladonna groups. The plant reaches 60–80 cm in height, has short internodes and dark green foliage. Strong upright stems allow the crop to be grown without the use of supports.

The violet-blue flowers are gathered in dense inflorescences. Flowering begins in June and can continue until October; repeat flowering is possible if spent inflorescences are removed. The variety does not require a period of cold vernalization to begin flower formation.

The plant has good disease resistance and winter hardiness in the 3–9 zone range. The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field, containers, planters and is suitable for cut flowers.
