The flowers of the Janny Arrow variety are single, sky-blue in color, have a white "center," and reach 6 cm in diameter. The inflorescence is formed in a rosette shape, and the spur length is 2.5 cm. Within the series, there are also variations with lavender and white petal shades.

The plant belongs to the Belladonna group, although some publications mention it in the context of the Elatum group. The variety was developed for use in commercial floriculture as cut flowers. It prefers nutrient-rich, well-drained soils.
