Variety description

The plant is a seedling grown from seeds collected in 1919 in Burma. The shrub has a multi-branched form with arching shoots and reaches a height of up to 2 meters.
The star-shaped flowers have pure white petals with a pink tint and a dark red center; the flowering period occurs in May. The plant is characterized as fully winter-hardy and is easily propagated by semi-hardwood cuttings.
