The Raspberry Sundae variety is a hybrid of the Magicien variety and the species Deutzia setchuenensis var. corymbifolia. The plant forms a dense, compact shrub reaching a height and width of 0.6 to 1.2 meters.
Flowering occurs on the previous year's shoots from mid-May to mid-June. The flowers consist of five white petals with pink tips. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -30 °C, and is suitable for decorative landscaping of small spaces or container cultivation.
