The variety is a standard carnation with one flower per stem. The flowers are very large, double, and colored in a deep pink-red, corresponding to shade 52B on the RHS scale. The petal margins have serrations of medium depth.
The plants are tall, characterized by long internodes and the absence of lateral shoots. The stems are thick and covered with a distinct waxy bloom. The leaves are dark green, narrow and long, linear in shape, and have a good degree of curling. The flower fragrance is weak.
The variety belongs to the late-maturing group and is intended for cut flower production. In trade, it is also found under the name Dumas.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
