The variety Barfenix (trade name Fenix) belongs to the group of standard carnations intended for cultivation in heated protected conditions. To obtain high-quality large flowers on the stem, timely removal of side shoots and buds is necessary.
The plant forms fully double flowers. A morphological feature of the variety, recorded in UPOV documentation, is the short length of the calyx lobe. During cultivation, the use of flower nets is required to support the stems.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
