The flowers of the variety are fully double, colored in a pale-purple-pink shade corresponding to RHS 55D. The petal edges are characterized by the presence of very fine serrations. The plant has a light fragrance and is intended for cut flower production.
A clone of the variety known as Barlo II or Barlo II Nora is known, which differs from the original form by a light-salmon-pink shade and less susceptibility to calyx splitting. Scientific literature has noted a high susceptibility of the variety to the fungal disease Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi.
