The Barorisis variety, also known under the trade name Osiris, belongs to the spray carnation group, which is characterized by the formation of multiple flowers on a single peduncle.

The flowers are fully double, have a solid deep purple-pink color and petals with very fine serrations at the edges. In specialized catalogs, the variety is mentioned as resistant to Fusarium wilt.
