The variety Gorena was introduced from the city of Sanremo, Italy. Historically, the name of this variety was associated with a peach hue of the petals, which was also used as a color marker when describing variegated and bicolored carnation variations.
In scientific reports of the 1970s, the variety appeared as a research subject, during which its susceptibility to carnation mottle virus was identified. Structured agronomic characteristics of the plant are absent in open sources.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
