The variety forms sturdy peduncles 40 to 80 cm in height and a basal rosette of leaves. The large double flowers reach 4–6 cm in diameter and possess a characteristic fragrance.
The plant is characterized by cold hardiness and relative resistance to diseases. For normal development, it requires sunny areas and well-drained soils. With early sowing in January-February, flowering is possible in the first year of life.
