The Hilnotre variety, also known by the trade name Notre Dame, is a standard (not spray) carnation. The flowers are fully double, and the petals have serrated edges. The main color of the petals is pale yellowish-green, with a pale reddish tint in the central part.
The plant is intended for commercial floriculture in protected soil, as this type of carnation requires greenhouse conditions and has insufficient winter hardiness for open field cultivation. The variety is used as a reference sample for conducting tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
