The Dianthus caryophyllus variety named "PACO" was registered in the 1990s by Italian breeder Flavio Sapia. Mentions of related varieties Paco Rosa and Paco Rosso are also found in the literature, however, detailed agronomic characteristics of this carnation are absent in open sources.
In modern horticultural practice, the name "PACO" more often refers to a Zantedeschia variety. This plant is characterized by dark purple inflorescences with a blue tint, and the height of the flower stalks ranges from 40 to 70 cm. Paco calla is used as an ornamental crop for open field and pot cultivation.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
