The variety was obtained in 1984 as a result of a mutation of the variety Stanti. In professional floriculture, the plant is classified as a standard carnation intended for producing high-quality cut flowers with large single blossoms on long stems.
The flowers of the variety are fully double and have a saturated dark red color. In commercial circulation, this variety is known under the trade name Tornado.
