The variety is a hybrid that is propagated vegetatively. The plant belongs to the type of miniature spray-type carnations. The flowers are characterized by a pink-purple color.
The variety has become widespread as a commercial product for industrial floriculture. It served as the base material for breeding such varieties as Stagilac (syn. Lilac Gypsy) and Stagidark (syn. Bright Eye Gypsy).
