The variety 'Holkahori' (trademark Kahori®) is a compact perennial plant with a height of 10 to 17 cm. It forms a dense cushion of semi-evergreen foliage. The flowers of a saturated purple-pink shade possess a sweet aroma.
Flowering is recurrent, beginning in June and continuing until autumn under favorable conditions. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -34 °C. The variety tolerates mechanical pruning well, which stimulates repeat waves of flowering.
