The variety is a spray carnation obtained by crossing the 'Orange Elf' and 'Red Baron' varieties. The stem height of the plant is 0.80–0.85 m.

The flowers are fully double, 45–65 mm in diameter, containing from 25 to 30 petals with serrated edges. The petal color is orange with a light yellowish-pink tint, complemented by a bright reddish-orange border and markings. The fragrance of the variety is weakly expressed or absent.

The 'Ace' variety is the progenitor of an X-ray mutation named 'Ace High'.
