The variety is a cut carnation with a single large flower per stem. The flower is fully double, bright red (RHS 45B), and reaches 85 mm in diameter. The variety lacks fragrance. The edges of the petals are typically entire or have slight serrations.
The plant has glaucous-green foliage, and stem height is 0.85 m. In the context of phytopathological studies, the variety shows moderate susceptibility to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi). The variety is used in breeding as a parental form for developing new hybrids.
