The flowers of the K3 variety have a saturated reddish-purple color corresponding to code 70B on the RHS scale. The petal edges are deeply and narrowly serrated, creating a fringed appearance. There are several flowers on one plant stem.

The variety belongs to border types, characterized by a compact habit. The plant was obtained from seeds of a specimen originating from Taiwan.
