The Killer variety belongs to the category of standard carnations and is characterized by the formation of one large flower on a long flower stalk. The flowers are red and possess high decorative value when stored as cut flowers.

The main biological feature of the variety is the absence of a typical climacteric response to ethylene. Due to the low level of ethylene production during senescence, the flowers are not prone to rapid wilting and petal curling; instead, they gradually dry out.
