The variety has the trade name Flying Colors Coral. A morphological feature of the flowers is the high density of trichome elaiophores, as well as large spurs directed inward.

Used in ornamental floriculture, suitable for hanging baskets and container landscaping. The variety is characterized as early-flowering and is often used as a control sample in tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability.
