Variety description

The plant is a compact perennial 25–40 cm in height. The leaves are deeply dissected, fern-like, have a characteristic silvery-blue or grey-blue hue, and retain their decorative quality throughout the season. The flowers have a typical heart shape, are nodding, and are deep red or crimson with a white margin at the edge.
Flowering begins in mid-spring and, under favorable conditions, can continue until the end of summer or early autumn. The variety forms a sturdy bush, not prone to lodging. The plant is sensitive to excess moisture, especially in winter, and requires good soil drainage to prevent root system rot.
