Variety description

The plant is a compact, dense, and bushy perennial with a height ranging from 25–30 to 40 cm. The lace-like, deeply dissected foliage has a silvery-bluish-green hue. Heart-shaped wine-red flowers with white tips are positioned on peduncles above the foliage.
Flowering lasts from late spring to mid-summer; the variety does not set seeds, which extends the period of ornamental appeal. The plant is noted for high growth vigor and disease resistance. Unlike shade-loving species, it tolerates full sun well, provided there is sufficient soil moisture; it is considered an alpine type of Dicentra.
