The variety grows somewhat slower than standard Eruca sativa varieties and bolts later. The plant forms dark leaves with finely serrated edges and possesses intermediate resistance to downy mildew.

The greens of the variety have a characteristic spicy, slightly nutty flavor. The crop is suitable for multiple cuttings due to its ability to regrow quickly.
