The plant forms a dense vase-shaped rosette of upright, slightly drooping fronds. The variety is distinguished by color dynamics: in spring, young leaves have a golden-orange or bronze hue, which transitions to a bright green color in summer and autumn.
The fern is deciduous or semi-evergreen; winter hardiness is down to -15°C (zones 5–9). The plant is undemanding, not prone to specific diseases, and is used in landscape design for decorating shade gardens, borders, or container cultivation.
