Variety description

The plant forms deep yellow inflorescences with an orange-brown central cone. The foliage is dark green, narrow-ovate to lanceolate in shape with a roughly pubescent surface. Flowering occurs in the summer period, usually from July to August or September.

The variety is hardy; its stems are resistant to strong wind and rain. The plant prefers well-drained soils and is sensitive to stagnant moisture and excessive waterlogging. In the spring period, the variety may be subject to slug attacks.

This cultivar is used primarily in landscape design for creating borders and mixed borders. The flowers can be used in floristry, including as dried flowers.
