Variety description

10 August 2026

Echinodorus cordifolius is a natural species distributed from the USA to South America. The plant reaches a height of 30–70 cm and possesses characteristic heart-shaped leaves. It is often grown in an emersed form and is prone to rapid growth above the water surface, making it suitable for large aquariums and paludariums.

Echinodorus 'Oriental' is an independent breeding variety. Unlike the natural species, it is distinguished by slower growth rates, as well as leaf shape and coloration, while maintaining compact dimensions.
