Variety description

The plant forms a basal rosette of dark green strap-shaped leaves and develops a flower stalk 1.2 to 1.5 m in height. The inflorescence is dense, thickly set with small white or ivory-colored flowers with a yellow center and stamens.
Flowering occurs in May–June. The variety is a hybrid of E. stenophyllus and E. olgae, possesses winter hardiness (USDA zone 5a–8b), and requires well-drained soil, as it is sensitive to moisture stagnation. It is used in landscape compositions and for cut flowers.
