The plant is an early-ripening or ultra-early-ripening crop with a period from emergence to harvest of 20–30 days. It forms a basal rosette of leaves 15–20 cm in height. The leaves are oval-shaped with serrated edges, dark green, larger and less dissected than those of wild species.
The flavor of the produce is piquant, nutty-mustard, but milder and more delicate than that of wild arugula. The plant is characterized by the succulence of its leaves and the absence of excessive bitterness. The variety type is relatively resistant to bolting and is suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation, as well as in home conditions.
