The plant has an upright growth habit. Leaves are oval or ovate with a serrated margin. The inflorescence is equipped with small needle-like bracts.

The variety possesses strong stems. In cultivation, it prefers sunny areas with well-drained soils. Used as a cut flower, it maintains its decorative appearance in arrangements and as dried flowers.
