The plant forms a neat bushy shape with a height and width of 30 to 50 cm. It possesses narrow dark green foliage, which persists throughout the year, and upright stems with inflorescences.

Flowering lasts from early spring to early summer. The variety is a honey plant, prefers well-drained soil and a sunny location. It is classified as a semi-hardy plant, requiring protection from severe frosts.
