The clone is characterized as fast-growing, intended for short-rotation forestry plantations with a harvesting cycle of 8 to 15 years. The main use of the wood is for energy, including the production of wood chips, pellets, and firewood.
The plant possesses high adaptability to the Mediterranean climate and resistance to cadmium accumulation. Research confirms the clone's ability to grow successfully in the central and southern regions of Italy, as well as selective resistance to cortical canker.
