The plant forms a rosette of bright green strap-like leaves. Vertical peduncles reach a height of 30 to 60 cm. The dense inflorescence ends in a tuft of bract leaves resembling a pineapple fruit.
The buds have a dark purple color, and upon opening, they turn into star-shaped flowers of a pink-purple or lavender-pink shade. Flowering continues from mid-summer to early autumn.
The variety possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt, and its sturdy peduncles are resistant to lodging. The plant belongs to USDA hardiness zones 7–10; in regions with cold climates, container cultivation or digging up bulbs for the winter is recommended.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
